thnx, much better sound from skyone(uk) than the over-compressed scifi(us) rips.

can we get uk sky one rips for the rest of the eps incl. the earlier eps?

am i to think (hopefully) that the uk might be getting the
episodes beyond
s04e10 before us? i'm in canada, but i'm stuck with what the americans want and
waiting til 2009 for the last 10 episodes is driving me postal... so to
speak.

hell no. sky is taking the same break as the us, and when the final 10 episodes
premiere, sky will probably return to broadcasting the episodes after their us
broadcast.

has anyone from sci fi officially confirmed that the final 10 episodes are 2009,
or is this still just a rumor? i've not been following bsg in the news.

if i lived in america, i know i would go postal. i hate the fucking way the
networks there fuck shows up by stopping airing them mid season, and in the case
of american dad, south park, and family guy, whenever the hell it suits them. it
really does not make for quality broadcasting imho.

peace

jimbo.

yeah, i live in america and this is exactly why i'd rather wait and download
shows than watch them over the air. seems the internet always (does a better job
of keeping track of when things air than i ever could...especially in this case!

one thing i'm hoping for is that this uk version won't suffer from the lousy
*whiz-bang* lower third graphics after every commercial break like it does on
the scifi channel here.

either way, thank you eztv! :d

yeah usual the uk or ireland cant show shows before the us
but this dosen't seem to be case for si-fi channel shows. as the second half of
staragte use usually air in the uk before the us.

jh604... thanks for the reply...

one could hope.

my original post is not in the order i posted it for whatever reason but
whatever. i haven't heard anything definitive from scifi just the speculation
that the other 10 eps may not show until 2009.

it is the worst episode of the season, glad it wasn't just me!

sky have done this kind of thing before, i think it was stargate season 10, the
us went on a break, sky didn't...

then again, they took bones off air for the break two episodes early 'cos i
remember thinking they would bring it back before the us, i was heartily
dissapointed when i realised what had happened after the "all new" trailers lol

i also remember them waiting for the us to show the buffy series finale so as
to avoid spoilers for everyone.

if memory serves right, i think sky help fund battlestar galactica as well
which would also go some way to explaining it...

doesn't really matter - we all get the best of both worlds at eztv

you lot want to think your self lucky. in australia series 3 started to be aired
on channel 10 and they stopped before they got anywhere near the end of the
season. i think they only played 6 or 7 episodes and stopped.
scifi here is on satellite and costs an arm and leg to get it and they havent
started season 4 yet nor have they finished season 3.
sux to live in australia if you want good tv!

it's decent episode, not much happening though.
also great quality, much better than the usual scifi.

european tv doesn't suffer the same intolerable ads that american tv is plagued
with (yet) and those damned awful breaks part-season.

as far as people saying this is the worst episode yet, i think these people are
a bit too used to "in your face" trash tv. let the plot develop as it should,
then see where it goes, then comment at it's outcome. to those people i would
suggest you have some patience. bsg is not a sitcom with an outcome at the end
of every episode. chill you impatient little frakkers
