if you cant play this file your system is too old. spend $99 and get apple tv (ver 3 releasing soon, same price) , jailbreak it, install xbmc, then install all the amazing addons. you will kiss the ground i walk on. ps: u need at least a 3mbps downstream to enjoy this, and more if you want hi-def. |

1996 -- dvd movies 2001 -- xvid 2003 -- h.264 (x264) 2006 -- blu-ray 2012 -- "the scene" adopts h.264 (x264) xvid vs. h264, old tech vs. new tech. .wav vs. mp3. old tech vs. new tech. older tech usually last about 10 years. stop bitching and whining about xvid vs. h.264 (x264) and avi vs. mp4 and mkv. you can't put your vhs tape in a dvd player or your 8-track audio cartridge in a cassette player. nor can you put your 12" vinyl alubm in your cd player. time and technology change...get used to it. grow up and realize that the world does not stop advancing just for you. spend $50 on a stand-alone network/wifi/usb player for your tv. or take your free torrents, your free time, and free apps to convert files to whatever format you choose. fyi: $50 divided by 10 years = $5 per year, or 42 cents per month. with a $100 stand-alone product you're still only spending 83 cents per month. that's less than a cup of coffee or a can of red bull. eventually all scene releases, and most non-scene release, will be h.264/x264...until another new tech comes along in ten years. example: $49.99 -- sony smpn100 network wifi media player 1080p, dlna wireless streaming, usb, bd remote, hdmi (cable not included). tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp? edpno=6659874&rsort=4&csid=itd&body=#reviewstart |

you seem to think this is some kind of democracy.... we get what we are given. we can't complain cause its provided to us free to expect eztv to seed both (for free) is retarded this website struggles at the best of times if the scene decide that x264 is the future, then that's all there is to it. no crying / complaining is going to change anything. i would go as far as to bet that the moaners don't even help seed. bunch of ingrates. long live the iron fish |

the change came too suddenly, and too soon. maybe if they had waited a year or two until most players used mp4 there would not be this uproar. but 95% of stand alone players do not yet play mp4 (or this type of mp4,as i have new two old dvd player with the mp4 logo, and they won't play in it, either with usb or burned dvd) |
