standards. even pirates have them. the major release groups have decided to kill the avi in favor of the mp4. while i would rather have one standard filetype across my media library as much as any other guy with a big hard drive and crippling ocd, x264 is a better codec than xvid. so at least i can tell myself that as i turn on "hide extensions" and meticulously go through all of my new downloads to make sure they have the same icons as my old files. more info: http://torrentfreak.com/bittorrent-pirates-go-nuts-after-tv-release-groups-dump-xvid-120303/ |
