hi guys im running fedora 6 linux and ive got 40g hhd spare ! i was thinking
of mabey using this machine to run it as a torrent server, mr admin if you
need the help then i have a machine at ur hands and more then wellcome to use
it as a torrent server !!!

well it is a nice offer but i presume the server is not with a hosting company?
biggest problem for torrent trackers is that they have to be reliable so they
have to run 24/24 7/7 365/365 and most home lines and computers don't do that
there is always something that messes with that at home so it is not realy the
best idea to run a tracker from home .
than the bandwidth data
well let us say that a tracker used by eztv uses between the 2 and 4mb speed
and about 1 tb bandwidth a month all depends from day to day and which shows are
released that day
it depends also on the hardware a bit but like this you have already a general idea

well if you get the 10 mb line than feel free to contact one of the ops in the
irc channel and they can set you up with an appointment with our seeders team boss..
but be aware you can not choose what you seed it is all or nothing
