is a quote with a name at the top needed for the bug?
though this seems like the wrong place to mention it, i can't figure out where
to post.
i think i have found a bug, when you go to edit post (which i do quite a bit as
i correct a typo or think of some other thing to tag on to my overlong posts) it
adds or breaks the quotes.
also it's worth noting that it would be far better if all quotes weren't pushed
up to the top but rather were where they should be in the message so things can
be replied to point bu point as is standard in normal forums. (though honestly
boggie great work)
so now at the bottom of this message i am going to add a quote, it will appear
at the top, then i will edit the post and likely it will mess the quote up further.

note: it seems that the quote symbols don't display as quote symbols inside a
quote but as " "
interestingly " once edited turns back to " in normal text
note 2: i was unable to recreate the effect in this post but i was able to
recreate the bug in the below post.
also if you know of these bugs and just don't have the time to fix them then
just delete this thread, actually just delete it anyway since i'm sure it will
gather flames as most my posts do.

oh, has the problem manifested, yes i think it has, i pressed edit post and now
i see an unquote above as the last word of the message.
it seems it is insistent that i be quoted at the start not withnail which while
correct it's not meant to be psychic, so it adds a quote to me at the start but
as the quotes aren't mounting up (no quotes inside of quotes) only one unquote
is needed to undo so the last unquote at the end of the message displays as text.
it is however interesting that the first post seems to be immune to the problem.

another test (deleted as it showed nothing), it isn't really a bug that i was
quoted at the top, i suppose this
issue pops up when you quote someone that starts off by quoting someone else,
this throws it for a loop, both quotes are correct but with not allowing nested
quotes it goes all wrong.
if this was known and i guess there is a good chance it was then that's fine,
just had to work it out so i understood the problem.
