i think the sci-fi channel has more important things to spend their money on. like a second season of flash gordon. please note sarcasm. :) |

lol! nice one! i haven't yet seen jericho... bought the first season when season 2 was confirmed to see what the hype was about, but didn't get around to seeing it yet. please tell me that they are wrapping up the story to a satisfactory point otherwise i might not watch it, at-least unless i have nothing else to do. |

in all hnesty it may be dead but the main poitn ppl are saying here is that this was far superior to the likes of sarah cronicheadaches and flash gordon and they get renewed. the world is gettign dumb- anything that needs a brain to understand is cancelled - " uhh duh me no understand thsi show cause me eat to much mac burgers - me want to watch shit with paris hilton in it" stupid jackass idiots- this may not have been the best but there are far better shows out there like - firefly / invasion which where pretty damn good and they got the axe. |

i think it's worth noting that the second season really did get buried, and was getting decent ratings according to the article. |

another point... if someone like scifi picks it up, ppl in other english-speaking countries like here - australia - might get to see it without a modem. television in english is a global thing now thanks to the internet! i wonder if advertisers have woken up to that? and whether it would be any use to them really, for that matter - global reach, global products?. nevertheless, if a show is worth watching it will be picked up by sites like eztv so i\'m happy, but lots of ppl don\'t get the chance to download north american/british tv programs. sell it to scifi - at least someone will make some money and ppl get to see something new! |

cbs did nothing to promote this show, and seemed to only run it to say "we told you so" to the fanbase that supported it. i was thinking that the sci-fi channel would sell their mother's titties for a show that gets 8 million viewers a week (especially running against american idol) and i'm glad to see they are thinking about picking it up. jericho is a show with incredible potential, but i felt the second season was too short to do it justice (just as the first season was too long and drawn out). |

yay! well said! ..having said that though.. i do feel for the fans of any show that gets itself canned... like dark angel for example, or firefly.. i felt the same way about those two show that the fans feel about jericho but now i have a host of other "new" shows that i have grown to love just as much since then. |

i just watched the final ep. of jericho; and i liked it quite much and should add that i'd be really glad it channel like scifi take it under its shoulder. the season 1 was fine; a little slow, but due to the main purpose of the serie, it has to be a bit and solve inside toubles in jericho. then we had the 2nd season, which i liked really much! i just tought that it was a 8ep. season, and it will give it an end. so when i look around after this ep, i thought ok, one more and we're over. but actually, we are. i don't know why they put this ep instead of the cliffanger one... anyway, it was a good serie, and i'd be glad to watch it again |

interestingly, the show's user-rating on eztv rivals those of the highly acclaimed shows like "24", "prison break", "house m.d.", "lost" and "heroes" which indicates that "jericho" wasn't that bad as a tv show and surely had its qualities. |

has anyone seen the movie idiocincrisy or something close to that name? this was one building into one of the most memorable storylines i have watched in a very long time. i missed the first season ( lack of advertiseing and a total dislike for anything that cbs has done in years) then the scfi channel decided to re-air season 1 saw the first two episods went shopping for the season 1 dvd on the spot.. and after many years of avoiding cbs like the plague i actually spent every week back on their network to watch season 2. sadly once again cbs shows why i dont waste my time even stopping into their station while im channel surfing. cbs would rather broadcast complete dribble then something worth spending ones week looking forward to. the good news is my mnother is planning on finally getting cable if the scifi channel actually picks up jericho. so not only has cbs once again lost me but they might actually be helping my mom catch up to the year 2k:-) zgny |
