i think the glitches a lot of people have been posting about in the last few weeks are related to old codec packs. i was seeing this with a few programmes, but the latest codec seem to fix the issue |

aghhh! yesterday i added the new vtv feed so that it would pick up the supernatural episode, and today the battlestar episode got downloaded twice; the usual eztv release and the vtv. grrr. |

especially in the hd shows on eztv i have been seeing lots of posts from people about out of sync audio and glitches recently. to be honest, most of these problems are user related and not to do with the files. anyone who sees a comment like this should wait for 2-3 confirmations before avoiding the download. those with problems, make sure you are using a decent player (mpc, vlc) that is up to date. |

very true. 6124 tv releases and just 17 propers and 31 repacks in 4 years. by far the best scene ratio. oh and this ep was fine for me also |

great advice, a generic copy of this comment should be auto-inserted at the beginning of every torrents comments threads. +1 ! |

they have been showing some episodes earlier in the day on scifi's website (not this week's, though). and it looks like they are getting them up to watch online next-day now. they are embedded in the page, but the plugin syncs with my tv-out full-screen settings (nvidia) and the quality is good. there are some short commercials, but still less than watching on tv. you can pause, but you can't skip around. i still prefer having it on my hard drive so i can rewatch any part easily and sync it with the podcast. but this is another option people might like in some cases. you don't have to wait for it to download and you don't have to upload anything. anyway, just an fyi. i'm curious what people think of the quality comparison between their online rips and eztv's. the frame rate seems smoother here imo. any why does this thing think "circ um stanc es" is a url?! |

ctu decided not to release it because so many complained about the lower quality stream from comcast. 2hd and dim are the only other groups who could do it as far as i know and as you see neither has stepped up. (yet) my guess is ctu may still release it if no one else does. |

so i got bored waiting for the 720p version and downloaded this one really quickly and watched it. i usually don't do that and never regret waiting because of the superb quality of 720p... but to be honest this time i would have regretted it. not the best bsg episode ever to begin with, but further it's almost all in ship footage and close zoom on people and conversations. long story short, nothing special in this episode that makes it worth waiting for 720p to appear and then extra time waiting for it to download. just my opinion on the episode, but i say go ahead and get this version this week. |

i would assume so, but i don't know enough about networking to be sure. it would certainly be nice if it did. i have heard that some of the soldiers in iraq and afghanistan count on torrents to see their favorite shows; this kind of thing might make it a little easier for them. i still refuse to watch daily show and colbert on comedy central. they are overloaded with adverts (it addition to the ones you see on the site already!), the quality poor, and a lot of the segments are poorly edited (cut off or start too soon etc.). |
